Art@Government Buildings 2012-13 - Fresh Vision

AGB 2012-13 is presented by the Home Affairs Bureau, organised by Art Promotional Office of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department with Community Art Network as the curatorial collaborator.

Art@Government Buildings (AGB) aims at beautifying the government office buildings through art display and enhancing the quality of life by offering building users and visitors a new artistic experience.

To sustain the success of last year’s project, AGB 2012-13 will continue to commission more artists to explore on developing government buildings as a place for art appreciation. This year we have extended the project to six government venues, namely Sai Kung Tseung Kwan O Government Complex, Tokwawan Market and Government Offices, Sha Tin Government Offices, Queensway Government Offices, Lai Chi Kok Government Offices and North Point Government Offices. Six artists with diverse disciplines and backgrounds are invited to give their most artistic interpretations to the assigned government buildings, so as to enhance the relationship between each government building and the surrounding community.

Free guided tours will be organised during the exhibition period for the public to know more about the stunning local artists and the government building in the community.
